Both the normal and lognormal distributions are used to describe a great variety of phenomena. This paper is concerned with the bivariate distribution of X, Y that arises when one variate, say X, is distributed normally, the conditional distribution of the other, for a given X is lognormal, and the form of the regression EYX x is known. Two forms of the regression curve are investigated it is hoped that this method of approach will prove useful for other regression functions. Author
