Abstract:

Comparison studies were made of the bacetricidal properties of common disinfectants. A 6 solution of hydrogen peroxide was found to be superior to similar solutions of phenol, chloramine and alkali, both in terms of arresting bacterial growth and in terms of nontoxicity for man.
