Abstract:
The discussion presents very briefly a method of freezing red cells human red cells were preserved with glycerol and the slow-freeze thaw technique, agglomeration was used to recover the preserved cells. Frozen red cells were used in South-Vietnam to supplement the standard ACD-preserved blood. The paper then gives indications for use of the frozen cells appear to be in different situations.
