The report covers work on interference properties of single photons, photon statistics, photoelectric correlation studies of laser beams, quantum and classical theories of optical coherence, and coherence effects in holography. The research resulted in 17 scientific publications, summaries of which are given. Two graduate students obtained their Ph.D. degrees on the basis of research supported by the contract.
