Abstract:

Great progress has been made in the Kazak SSR in the control of such diseases as malaria, recurrent typhus, brucellosis, diphtheria, tularemia, and childhood infections. The reduction in morbidity was achieved by prophylactic measures, improved training of increased numbers of medical personnel, and creation of sanitary-epidemiological stations in every town and village.
