The document covers a series of papers given at the fifth AFCRL scientific balloon symposium. Balloon technology presentations included recent material investigations, tandem balloon stress analysis, balloon instrumentation, tethered balloons, cryoinflation feasibility studies and proposed launching techniques for large balloon systems.
