Abstract:

Various types of engraving substrate materials are comparatively evaluated, and it is concluded that 1 temperature control is more important to precise plate dimensions then is humidity control 2 polyesters have better deformation properties than polyvinyl chlorides 3 glass which has the best deformation properties, does not allow direct engraving from an underlaid original and copying through the substrate.
