Abstract:

Conducted tests on the effect of irradiation on the contact of fusion crystals were 1 irradiation of crystals by x-rays, neutrons and gamma-rays from a Ra-alpha-Be source and electrons increases the contact fusion rate 2 the greatest change the contact fusion rate occurs at temperatures close to the temperatures of the start of contact fusion 3 the phenomenon of saturation in the dependence of the contact fusion rate upon the dose was observed 4 radiation-induced defects have unidentical structures and are removed in different temperature intervals 5 the activation energy of contact fusion of irradiated crystals immediately after irradiation is less than the activation energy of unirradiated crystals.
