Abstract:
The article examines an approximate method of determining the service life of an aircraft wing of the usual thin-walled design under aerodynamic heating conditions and loaded with bending moment M sub x. The change in value of M sub x over the course of a typical aircraft flight is prescribed. Here the factor determining the service life of the structural component is the bending deformation limit tolerated by operating conditions. The change in stress distribution in the component when there is creep is also determined in the computational process. Author
