The report discusses the previously observed adverse effect of large contents of aluminum, zirconium, titanium and similar elements on the plasticity of molybdenum alloys and in view of their contributing to an increase in the recrystallization temperature, the author has traced the influence of small additions of vanadium, titanium, hafnium, and zirconium on the recrystallization of molybdenum.
