Abstract:

The majority of the differential media used blood agar, blood bouillon, OKELIANSKIIs stained medium, litmus lacmus milk are meant for the differentiation of the anthrax pathogen from Bao. anthracoides and Bao. pseudoanthracis, whereas for other morphologically similar soil saprophytes Bao. mesentericus, Bac. mycoides and Bac. mogatherium the mentioned media are not effective. Whereas the medium used was tested with positive results on various representatives of the large group of soil bacilli-aerobee. Utilizing the differential bile medium at-large, the question might arise whether or not a compulsory infection of the experimental animals would be necessary, if the mentioned medium were used independently.
