Abstract:

An approximate method for calculating combustion rates of liquid fuel drops in a sound field is proposed. The method is valid provided that certain restrictions are imposed on the values of the dimensionless complexes characterizing a process. The main result of the paper is expressed by rho formula 22 qRD. rho 1.17 Bsq. rt. of omega.DBeta where q - quantity of fuel, vaporized in unit of time from unit of surface rho - density of fuel vapors which relates the combustion rates to the sound oscillation parameters and to the intensity of a transverse flow of evaporating fuel vapors.
