Abstract:

A modification is proposed for the indirect hemagglutination test for titrating immune sera. In the presence of preserved erythrocytes that are sensitized by antibodies, the setting up of the indirect hemagglutination test is simple, accessible and permits the immunologic activity of the serum to be established for a period of 2-3 hours. In the case of the titration of hyperimmune anthrax sera, the indirect hemagglutination test is not inferior to the luminescent antibodies method with respect to sensitivity. Author
