Storage of monkey bone marrow cells at low temperatures with glycerol and polyvinylpyrrolidone PVP gives satisfactory results for autologous transplantation, but poor results when applied to homologous allogeneic transplantation. The study of the efficacy of storage of Rhesus monkey bone marrow cells for homologous transplantation was concerned with the analysis of technical and fundamental differences between autologous and homologous transplantation.
