Pagination or Media Count:
The results of an experimental study performed to determine the dynamic coefficients applicable to faired cables are presented. The coefficients are given for a range of reduced frequencies and for several environmental conditions. The data are compared with the Theodorsen flutter theory as well as other pertinent experimental results. Modifications to the existing theory based on the present results as well as the results of other investigations are suggested. Author
