Abstract:

The duration and level of virusemia in white mice and white rats infected with viruses of tick and Scotch encephalitis is directly dependent on the susceptibility of the animals being tested and also the massiveness of the infection. The tests on non-susceptible laboratory animals white rats indicate the absence of a parallelism between the virusemia and fixation of the virus by the brain tissue during peripheral infection. No existing variations in the dynamics of virusemia during infection of the animals with viruses of tick or Scotch encephalitis have been detected. Author
