In repeated tests statically authentic data were obtained concerning the ability of rivanol, proflavin and acrichine to fully suppress the development of the hemagglutinins of virus of smallpox and also the development of visible affections in the chorioallantois membrane of chicken embryo. The suppressive action of acridine yellow, coriphosphine and 7-nitroatebrin was also established.
