Abstract:

A large quantity of bacteria must be obtained in order to complete an autolysis with nitrifying bacteria. Nitrosomonas growth in a dish with jelly does not permit the necessary cell quantity. Nitrosomonas development in deep ventilated culture conditions, allows one to accumulate sufficient biological masses in 10-12 days for autolysis.
