Abstract:

A field experiment was conducted in Iran to test the effects of cross-cultural training materials on leader behavior and effectiveness. This study is part of a larger project which seeks a to identify differences in concepts and behaviors which are critical for effective interactions with members from another culture, b to design an appropriate training program which alleviates these difficulties, and c to test the effects of the training in appropriate work contexts.
