This report summarizes the importance of evaluating the effects of mass fires on fallout deposition and the state of knowledge on this interaction. An experiment was designed to measure the results of a mass fire interacting on depositing and deposited simulated fallout. The results obtained from a limited participation in an operation flambeau fire are also reported. The results from the crude experiments indicated the existence of significant mass fire-deposited fallout interaction and substantiated the feasibility of conducting the designed experiment. Author
