The work on this contract has been concerned with optical processing by means of lensless correlography. This optical technique, sometimes known as the Meyer-Eppler effect and as Robertsons method, was first used in crystallography to obtain the Patterson function. The work included development of a technique of obtaining multichannel correlation functions experimental determination of angular radiation from a CRT spot, investigation of methods of commutating and presenting array data on a CRT, and development of a method of frequency indication by lensless correlography. During the investigations two separate imaging methods were found to be special cases of lensless correlography. Author
