Abstract:

The equilibrium temperature, density, pressure, and electron concentration of cesium-argon mixtures behind incident and reflected normal shock waves were calculated. Presented are the results for p sub 1 1, 2, 5, and 10 mm Hg n sub csntotal .005, .01, .03, and .05 1.0 or M sub S or 10.8.
