Abstract:

The thermoelectronic emission of uranium mono- and dicarbides and of solid solution of uranium and zirconium carbides UC0.2ZrC0.8 was studied in vacuo and the thermoelectronic emission of UC0.2ZrC0.8 solid solution was studied in the presence of cesium vapor. The temperature varied from 1620K to 2200K and the cesium vapor pressure varied in a wide range saturation pressures corresponding to 70-200C. Author
