A summary is given of work that was performed in the following categories a molecular spectroscopy, b studies of the excitation of molecular hydrogen by electron impact, c maser beam spectroscopy, and d studies of the scattering of velocity-selected molecular beams. In a an analysis of a complicated spectrum, of a type not heretofore analyzed, was successfully made. In b the new effect of the polarization of optical radiation from molecular hydrogen excited by electrons was discovered. The effect promises to be a valuable tool in the study of excited molecular states. In c the study of the fine structure of the deuterated ammonias was completed.
