Abstract:
A review of the ferroresonant circuits and devices developed in our research work is given. The limitations found in operating frequency of the elements are due to the lack of magnetic bulk materials showing low losses at carrier frequencies higher than a few megacycles per second. Pulse repetition rates are correspondingly limited because a ratio of 101, or 81, of carrier to pulse frequencies has proved to be a satisfactory figure. A variety of methods to perform the shift of information between elements have been proved to be effective within these limitations. Author
