Abstract:

The listing of climatological bibliographies for various countries is presented to furnish a ready reference to those Air Weather Service personnel whose duties or interests may involve an investigation of weather conditions of specific areas throughout the World. Each bibliography is listed with both its associated AD number and its Weather Bureau designation. These publications were compiled by the Foreign Area Section, Office of Climatology, of the U.S. Weather Bureau now ESSA. Most of these bibliographies were sponsored contracted by the Air Weather Service through its Climatic Center now USAF ETAC. Two distinct types of bibliographies are included 1 a listing of climatic references and 2 a listing of Climatic Maps. All references included within the bibliographies have been abstracted to furnish the reader a quick resume of the contents therein. The source of each publication is noted.
