Immunization with deposited preparation--NIISI polyvaccine--was accompanied by development, especially during the first week after the administration of the vaccine, of the acute phase reaction with the appearance in the blood of the vaccinated of the C-reactive protein. After vaccination with the NIISI polyvaccine the blood of the vaccinated revealed the C-reactive protein together with the accelerated E.S.R. and more rarely--with the presence of leukocytes, pointing to the prolonged disintegrating effect of the depo-preparation on the organism tissue. The presence of the C-reactive protein is a very sensitive indicator of the acute phase reaction of the organism in answer to the administration of vaccinal preparations and can be utilized in the evaluation of their reactiveness.
