Abstract:

Numerous facts indicate that the structural formations in the solar corona are produced by magnetic fields. If one extends this concept to the enigmatic arches in the arc systems of the corona, he must reject the much discussed hypothesis that arches are three-dimensional dome-shaped envelopes.
