Abstract:

The book is devoted to studying the properties of systems of radiators intended for non-mechanical beam steering. It covers questions of the first set related to the antenna system and barely touches on questions pertaining to signal processing systems. The principles of operation and the procedures for the design of phase shifters, commutators, electronic control circuitry for these or electronic circuitry for direct processing of the signal is mentioned only with reference to the basic parameters of certain of them and the general characteristics of the steering system.
