Abstract:
Integrated power amplifier coupler approach is shown to provide increased communications effectiveness compared with conventional hf transmitter and multicoupling subsystems of equal cost. In particular, the PAC approach affords 1 increased circuit availability, 2 less interference, 3 better control of information bandwidth, 4 fewer problems from parasitic resonances, 5 simplicity of operation and 6 greater commonality.
