The objectives of the contract are to conduct a predominantly theoretical investigation of bulk semiconductor techniques with a view towards development of devices applicable to phased array microwave devices. The following topics have been investigated during the report period 1 Wave propagation studies in semiconductors. 2 Coupled-mode instabilities. 3 Current instabilities in non-uniform semiconductors.
