Abstract:
The exploratory studies were in four areas I disintegration phenomena during corrosion and anodic dissolution of pure metals consisting of polycrystals and of single crystals, II disintegration and anodic behavior of semiconductors, used in the same forms, III attack and rates of corrosion of some metals zone refined Fe, steel, Mg, Zn, TiOx solid solutions, and determination of the rates of oxidation of Ti3 to Ti4 in HF by strong acids, and IV hydrogen solubility in Zr and in Fe. Part V represents studies still in progress. Author
