In this paper a uniqueness theorem is proved for solutions of the equation delta Vx k sq. ux 0, satisfying a radiation condition and a boundary condition. With the aid of this theorem a new and very natural derivation is given for the integral representation of the Schrodinger potential scattering operator which was first rigorously obtained by Ikebe.
