Investigations were undertaken to describe the mechanism of cardiovascular toxicity of decaborane-14. Decaborane 20 mg.kg. injected into rats caused a decrease in systolic pressure, heart rate, and respiration rate. There was no demonstrable change in the diastolic and pulse pressures. The possible mechanisms for these changes are discussed. Author
