The excitation spectra and beta-decay comparative half-lives of He6, Li6, O18, F18, Ca42, and Sc42 are calculated using a modelistic interaction containing pairing plus quadrupole-quadrupole operators with Rosenfeld exchange, single-body spin-orbit and long-ranged tensor interactions. The resulting low-lying wave functions are compared to those obtained by other workers with hard-cored realistic interactions and are found to overlap to a high degree. Author
