A permanent memory based on ferrite cores is patented. Codes are entered by wiring of the cores. The memory unit is a two coordinate matrix with m access buses for each coordinate plus number buses. This device differs from known devices of similar type in that rational placement of the number lines in the ferrite core is used to reduce noise. The number lines connected with some access buses are separated by at least m-2 number lines connected with the other access buses. A table is given of the locations of the number lines for a 16-number memory, that is one with m 4.
