Abstract:

Literature values or experimental data are given for the boiling points, refractive indices, densities, and ionization constants of 2,4-pentanedione, 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedione, 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoro-2,4-pentanedione, 1,1,1,2,2,6,6,6-octafluoro-3,5-hexanedione, 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,7,7,7-decafluoro-4,6-heptanedione, 1,1,1,2,2,3,3-heptafluoro-7,7-dimethyl-4,6-octanedione, and 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione. Infrared spectra and proton and fluorine NMR spectral data are also presented. References are given for commercial sources or preparative methods for these and twenty-nine other fluorine-containing beta-diketones. Author
