Abstract:

The effect of lattice deformations on the spectrum of paramagnetic resonance is theoretically studied. Investigated are 1 shape of the absorption curve of magnetic and acoustic resonances in electronic and nuclear paramagnetics, due to local distortions of the crystal lattice it is shown that the line width is proportional to the square root of the density of dislocations and is a function of the mutual orientation of the external magnetic field of the crystallograph axes and dislocation lines 2 the width and shift of electron paramagnetic resonance lines are caused by uniform deformations. A phenomenological description is proposed for the experiments on spin-lattice relaxation measurement. Author
