Abstract:
Aerometeorological observations in Antarctica are performed not only at the permanent meteorological stations, but also by mobile detachments. The full complex of meteorological observations was, in a number of cases, augmented by gradient observations and by measurements of the total ozone content. Measurements made provide an adequate basis for the development of a reliable climatic characteristic of the free atmosphere of Antarctica.
