Abstract:

On the basis of clinical observations, it is concluded that trimecaine is superior to novocaine in its effect and in the duration of anesthesia. In low concentrations 0.125 - 0.25 - 0.5 solutions this drug has little toxicity, and less of this anesthetic is required for surgery than novocaine. Neither trimecaine nor novocaine has any effect on the process of wound healing. Author
