Preliminary study shows the feasibility of synthesizing Tchebyscheff-type radiation patterns with predictable side-lobe levels for a circular-array antenna with all elements fed. Results are contrasted with results of studies of circular-arc arrays of the cophasal type. Parameters and resulting pattern characteristics system errors neglected are given for both types of array.
