From attenuation and phase measurements at the frequencies 4, 8 and 25.3 kmcs the complex relative dielectric constant epsilon of aqueous BeSO4- and Al2SO43-solutions has been determined for the temperature 25C in dependence on concentration up to 6 gram equival.1. The obtained epsilon-values approximately comply to Cole-Cole-Diagrams which for increasing electrolyte concentration show reduction of the static dielectric constant, shift of the water relaxational absorption range towards lower frequencies and its broadening. The question is treated, in as far thin layers of water and aqueous electrolytic solutions on a metal plate can be made reflectionless absorbing for normal incident waves. Author
