The article concerns problems of the interaction between the cavity of a measuring instrument and a flow of rarefied gas. The admittance of a cylindrical tube is computed both for the instrument at rest and for an axial oncoming flow. The admittance and a number of other characteristics are calculated for a rigid tube with dissociation of the particles at the walls. Formulas are derived for the density of a gas inside moving instruments of the simplest design. Author
