Abstract:

Research work on VHF transistor power amplifiers of the switched type demonstrates semi broadband designs yielding collector efficiencies as high as 80 at 40W output in the frequency range from 30 to 76 MHz. A laboratory model of such an amplifier was built. It was designed to fit the ANVRC-12.
