The Subsonic Wind Tunnel of Battelle Columbus Laboratories has been developed to provide a quality research tool that is economical to operate. It can provide air velocities to 250 fps with a turbulence level of 0.10 percent or less through a 55-inch-high by 38.5-inch-wide test section. Models are mounted directly to the walls, floor, or ceiling of the test section, or on a sting. The report is a description of the tunnel, its management procedures, and cost to users.
