AN EVALUATION OF VINYL HOOK-UP WIRES,
BRAND-REX DIV WILLIMANTIC CONN
Pagination or Media Count:
Three polyvinyl chloride insulation compounds used for hook-up wire were tested to determine a basic electrical, physical, and chemical properties, b suitability for use throughout a range of operating temperatures, and c the effect of high temperatures in particular on electrical and physical characteristics. Two of these compounds, T-711 and T-740, are commercially available for JAN-C-76 and UL 105C applications, respectively the third, T-540, has been specifically formulated to afford optimum performance throughout a wide temperature range.
