Abstract:

The article discusses Molodenskiys formula in showing that the value at a point on the earth surface of the derivative with respect to the direction perpendicular to the normal to the reference surface can be obtained. The article also shows that the value of the derivative with respect to the indicated normal can also be obtained on the basis of this formula for the derivation of expressions of proper gravity anomalies.
