The work includes preliminary experimental results on conductivity, melting point, and current-voltage measurements for sodium trifluoromethane sulfonate and mixtures with lithium perchlorate. This mixture appears to form a eutectic with a melting point of 190C at about 35 mole percent lithium perchlorate. The conductivity of this mixture is 0.13Ohmcm at 300C. Other solvents which are being considered are triethylamine trifluoromethyl sulfonate and ethyl ethylsulfonate along with some other sulfur containing esters. Author
