Abstract:

The report shows the progress made during the months of August 1965 through February 1966, on Tasks No. 1 and No. 2 of the contract. The work on Task No. 1 is progressing satisfactorily. Local tests on the newly arrived torsion balance are in progress. Preparations are being made for the summer field work. The work on Task No. 2 is practically finished. The last part of the final report on this item is being prepared, and will be submitted about June 1, 1966. Author
