Abstract:
The document summarizes the research accomplished under OCD Subtask 3233B, Radiological Recovery Requirements, Structures and Operations Research. The primary objectives of this study are to develop procedures which can be employed to estimate the effects of limited strips of contamination for the optimum direction of decontamination operations and to develop a procedure for obtaining estimates of the protection factor available in damaged structures by means of a multiplicative function. The results of the research in these activities are summarized, and general and specific conclusions and recommendations are given. Author
